Delicate Care™ Dental Diet for Dogs is a limited ingredient diet, making it ideal for dogs that suffer from skin sensitivities. It is a perfect complement to the dental management plan prescribed by your Veterinarian and is suitable for lifelong use.

Delicate Care™ Dental Diet for Dogs is a hypoallergenic, fish-based diet that is high in Eicosapentaenoic Acid (EPA), making it ideal for dogs that suffer from skin sensitivities.

Delicate Care™ Dental Diet for Dogs is formulated using scientifically chosen novel ingredients available in Australia by one of Australia’s top nutritionists. Australian grown wholegrain sorghum is used as a gluten free, low GI base, matched with Australian Mackerel and Tasmanian Salmon as a hypoallergenic protein source. The Delicate Care™ range is boosted with a generous helping of our unique Omega Magic™ Oil Blend which may assist with skin issues, as well as powerful prebiotics to encourage the proliferation of beneficial bacteria like Bifidobacteria in the gut. BIODENTAL™

Delicate Care™ Dental Diet for Dogs is fortified with BIODENTAL™, our unique blend of phyto-derived organic acids, functional ingredients, and botanicals. The phyto-derived organic acids in BIODENTAL™ assist with the reduction of dental biofilms. Microbial Biofilms are complex communities of bacteria that form on the tooth surface and in the canine dental cavities. These come in the form of yellowish plaque that decrease oral hygiene. If left undisturbed, these conditions can lead to periodontal disease.

Functional ingredients such as Sodium Hexametaphosphate is added to Delicate Care™ Dental Diet for Dogs to assist with the reduction of calculus build-up on the dogs’ teeth. Selected botanicals like Yucca schidigera extract and parsley are incorporated to assist with the reduction of breath odour.

MECHANICAL ACTION DUE TO KIBBLE DESIGN

The kibbles in Delicate Care™ Dental Diet for Dogs have been made to a size, shape and density that have been shown to be important in the mechanical reduction of calculus on teeth. The increased kibble size and shape encourage dogs to chew, thus providing a scraping action that delivers less accumulation of calculus on the dogs’ teeth.

HYPOALLERGENIC

Ideal for dogs with food sensitivities and intolerances, Delicate Care™ Dental Diet for Dogs does not contain common allergens such as chicken, beef, corn, wheat, soy or dairy. Instead, the most common allergens have been swapped with fish (Australian Mackerel and Tasmanian Salmon) which is a hypoallergenic protein high in EPA.

GLUTEN FREE

Delicate Care™ Dental Diet for Dogs is formulated with sustainably grown Australian Sorghum, a gluten free, highly digestible, hypoallergenic, ancient grain chosen for its low glycaemic index (GI).

EFFICIENT METABOLISM

Delicate Care™ Dental Diet for Dogs optimises all vitamins and minerals, including chelated organic forms of trace minerals, to ensure effective absorption and delivery of all these micronutrients (essential in maintaining an overall healthy balance).

FEEDING GUIDE

The feeding chart shown below is provided only as a guide based on dogs that are taken for a 60 minute walk each day. Quantities fed to your dog can be adjusted depending on your Veterinarian’s recommendation, or your dog’s body condition score and/or activity level.

CHANGING OVER TO DELICATE CARE™

We want your dog to fully enjoy the many benefits of our balanced, nutrition-packed food. To lessen the likelihood of an upset stomach, when changing to Delicate Care™ Dental Diet for Dogs from another diet, we recommend that you allow 7-10 days for transition. Introduce new dog food slowly by mixing with your dog’s current food, and gradually increase the amount of Delicate Care™ Dental Diet for Dogs until you are feeding this exclusively.
