Delicate Care™ Dental Diet for Cats is an all life stage food specially formulated to provide complete and balanced nutrition for cats while at the same time promoting dental health. Delicate Care™ Dental Diet for Cats is formulated as a complement to the dental management plan prescribed by your Veterinarian and is suitable for lifelong use.

Delicate Care™ Dental Diet for Cats is scientifically formulated using over 90% Australian ingredients by one of Australia’s top nutritionists. Australian hormone free chicken is paired with Australian grown whole sorghum to deliver a GMO free, low GI, low carbohydrate diet which is easy to digest with a taste that cats love. The Delicate Care™ range is boosted with a generous helping of our unique Omega Magic™ Oil Blend which may assist with skin issues as well as powerful prebiotics to encourage the proliferation of beneficial bacteria like Bifidobacteria sp. in the gut. Our aim is to stimulate and maintain a healthy immune system naturally.

BIODENTAL™

Delicate Care™ Dental Diet for Cats is fortified with BIODENTAL™, our unique blend of phyto-derived organic acids, functional ingredients and botanicals.

The phyto-derived organic acids in BIODENTAL™ assist with the reduction of dental biofilms. Microbial Biofilms are complex communities of bacteria that form on the tooth surface and in the feline dental cavities. These come in the form of yellowish plaque that decrease oral hygiene. If left undisturbed, these conditions can lead to periodontal disease.

Functional ingredients such as Sodium Hexametaphosphate is added to Delicate Care™ Dental Diet for Cats to assist with the reduction of calculus build-up on the cats’ teeth. Selected botanicals like Yucca schidigera extract and parsley are incorporated to assist with the reduction of breath odour.

MECHANICAL ACTION DUE TO KIBBLE DESIGN

The kibbles in Delicate Care™ Dental Diet for Cats have been made to a size, shape and density that have been shown to be important in the mechanical reduction of biofilm and calculus on teeth. The kibble size and shape encourage cats to chew, thus providing a scraping action that disrupts oral biofilms and delivers less accumulation of calculus on the cats’ teeth.

Delicate Care™ Dental Diet for Cats is boosted with Omega Magic™, a blend of high-grade natural Omega 3 and Omega 6 essential oils formulated to ensure optimum balance. This proprietary blend of canola and sunflower oils, flax seed oil, and fish oil with a high EPA and DHA content, may help with skin repair, and promote a glossy, healthy coat.

NATURAL FORMULATION

Delicate Care™ Dental Diet for Cats is naturally and carefully preserved with natural antioxidants containing mixed Tocopherols (Vitamin E) and Rosemary Extract. No artificial colours, flavours or preservatives (such as BHT, BHA or Ethoxyquin) are used. This natural theme is carried through the careful sourcing of our raw materials.

Delicate Care™ Dental Diet for Cats contains a blend of prebiotics to promote long term intestinal health, which in turn stimulates and helps maintain a healthy immune system.

Delicate Care™ Dental Diet for Cats contains FOS (Fructo-Oligo-Saccharides) which are carefully selected sugars that encourage the growth of beneficial bacteria like Bifidobacteria sp. in the gut. Additionally, Delicate Care™ Dental Diet for Cats contains beta glucans and MOS (Manno-Oligo-Saccharides) extracted from yeast to support your cat’s immune function.

SUPPORTS VISION

Our unique formula combines taurine (a beta-amino sulphonic acid) and preformed Vitamin A from animal sources. These two nutrients are essential for supporting vision, particularly as cats are unable to convert pro-Vitamin A from plant sources into active Vitamin A or convert methionine and cysteine amino acids to taurine.

Delicate Care™ Dental Diet for Cats contains a natural extract from the plant, Yucca schidigera, which aids in reducing faecal odours.

The feeding chart shown below is provided only as a guide and quantities fed to your cat can be adjusted depending on your Veterinarian’s recommendation, or your cat’s condition, age and activity level.

CHANGING OVER TO DELICATE CARE™

We want your cat to fully enjoy every kibble of our balanced, nutrition-packed food. To lessen the likelihood of an upset stomach when changing to Delicate Care™ Cat Food from another diet, we recommend that you allow 7-10 days for transition. Introduce new cat food slowly by mixing it with your cat’s current food, and gradually increase the amount of Delicate Care™ Cat Food until you are feeding this exclusively. This gradual transition will reduce the chance of stomach upsets.
