Delicate Care™ Puppy Food is formulated with Australian duck as the number one ingredient, paired with Australian free-range lamb to create a food that is high in digestible protein (over 80% protein from meat sources) with a balanced calcium level for all breeds of puppy to ensure steady muscular and skeletal development.

Delicate Care™ Puppy Food supplies not only highly digestible dietary fat but also L-carnitine, which facilitates the conversion of that dietary fat into energy, promoting lean muscle development in puppies for optimum growth during this important stage of their life.

At Delicate Care™, we believe that a healthy gastrointestinal tract with a stable and healthy microbiome provides the first line of immune defence against pathogenic bacteria and other common pathogens in your dog. Delicate Care™ Puppy Food contains an optimised blend of prebiotics to promote long term intestinal health, which in turn stimulates and helps to maintain a healthy immune system. Delicate Care™ Puppy Food contains prebiotics in the form of FOS [Fructo-Oligo-Saccharides] and MOS [Manno-Oligo-Saccharides] which are special simple sugars that encourage the growth of beneficial bacteria like Bifidobacteria spp. in the gut. Additionally, Delicate Care™ Puppy Food contains β-glucans to support your dog’s immune function.

Prime Australian duck and lamb have been specifically selected as the main protein sources in Delicate Care™ Puppy Food. These proteins provoke fewer allergic reactions in dogs that may develop a hyper-sensitivity to common proteins such as beef or chicken. Delicate Care™ Puppy Food is gluten free for stomachs sensitive to wheat glutens.

Delicate Care™ Puppy Food contains a natural extract from the plant Yucca schidigera that aids in reducing body and faecal odours.

The feeding chart shown above is provided only as a guide and is based on energy requirements for growth. Pregnant and lactating bitches can be fed “ad libitum”. Quantities fed to your dog can be adjusted depending on your Veterinarian’s recommendation or your dog’s condition and activity level.

When changing to Delicate Care™ Dog Food from another diet, we recommend that you allow 7-10 days for transition. Introduce Delicate Care™ Dog Food slowly by mixing with your dog’s previous food, and gradually increase the amount of Delicate Care™ Dog Food until you are feeding this exclusively. This gradual transition will reduce the chance of stomach upsets.
